Welcome to EnjoyTonka.com! Our website name says it all! We believe that everyone should enjoy Lake Minnetonka in the same way we have been for years and hope that we can make it better for years to come. The site came into existence in 2014 when we heard that part of Harrisons bay and West Arm bay may turn into a “No Wake” and we felt that the lake lovers needed to know about the proposed change. We decided to help spread the word and allow our friends, family and neighbors voice their opinion towards the proposal.

We’ve reached out with the current internet technologies to help inform the area about this proposal and why we think it should not be passed through the LMCD unless there are legitimate safety concerns in the area. The sheriff’s department said in the September 22nd meeting that there were no past issues that related to safety in the area.

EnjoyTonka.com is interested in communicating the voice of the residents any way we can. If there are ideas about invasive species, speed limits, or any issue that may affect the lake, We’re open to helping the community talk about it and work with the LMCD, Minnehaha Watershed District or the Minnetonka Water Patrol to come up with the best ideas to help the lake survive in a safe and helpful way!
